I am a newcomer here and wish to say that I desire amicable exchanges of views in a non-dogmatic atmosphere.

I see this forum as being a bright light in a not walways sunny world.

I would have chosen the name “Amicus” but this seems to be impossible, as some other buzzard has nicked it.  How can this happen?
